The outline application for up to 67 houses was turned down by the Sheffield City Council's Planning and Highways Committee at this afternoon's meeting! (Tuesday 8th December)

The Wiggan Farm Triangle: An undeveloped greenfield site at the heart of the Worrall Community
Reasons for refusal included the application's detrimental impact on the heritage of the area. Local Lib Dem Councillor Penny Baker, who attanded the meeting via Zoom, and spoke against the application reported:
"In addition to the main reason for refusal, a number of members of the committee had reservations about this application, the location of the Access long term access point being one."
The Council will be publishing a full summary of the decision in due course.
